General information terms and conditions for the rental of this vehicle
Requirements for booking:
If coming from abroad: copies of passport, Ticket/flight details, local address or hotel.
Residents:
copies of 3 government id’s, drivers license, proof of address.

Valid License
To drive in the Philippines the driver must hold a valid Philippines licence, or a foreign license is valid for 90 days from last entry, but it must be in English language. Alternatively, an international license in English can be used or a license translation obtained from the renter’s embassy.
Security Deposit: We normally ask for a security deposit which will be used to cover any small damage. It will not be returned if an insurance claim is necessary.
In the event of accident:
If other vehicles, property or persons involved get a POLICE REPORT or accident report. Take clear photographs of the damage and position of the vehicles including the plate numbers.
Get details of the other driver(s) and vehicles involved.
If possible, agree what happened and who is at fault.
Number coding: In Metro Manila and some other areas the car should not be used between certain hours. This only applies on 1 day of the week Monday to Friday depending on the plate number. Please ask for details if needed.
Rfid cards
The vehicles have Autosweep and Easytrip cards which can be loaded to avoid delays in the cash lanes. We will check the balance at the vehicle handover, the amount used can be paid on return of the vehicle. No reimbursement of excess amounts added by the renter.
Damage:
Any damage to the vehicle including to tires must be reported to us immediately. The vehicle must not be driven on unpaved roads, flooded areas or in too narrow or unsuitable roads. The renter is responsible for any damage resulting from this.
Insurance
The vehicle has comprehensive insurance but there is an excess of Php10,000.00 for sedans or 12,000.00 for SUV’s and 15,000.00 for vans. The renter must cover any repair costs up to this figure or pay this amount if there is a claim. (waiver available)
The renter is also responsible for any costs and claims not covered by the insurance regardless of who is at fault.
No insurance cover if the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or for unauthorised use.
The renter is responsible for the vehicle at all times, this includes responsibility for all damage whatever the cause.
Please request a copy of the insurance policy if you wish to see it.
The vehicle must not be used for any illegal/criminal purposes.
Tires:
The cost of damage to tires or vulcanising must be covered by the renter.
Please check tire pressures daily, any pressure lower than normal may indicate a puncture so get it checked at a vulcanising shop, this can avoid further damage to the tire and extra costs. Tire pressures are usually written on a plate or sticker on the door frame of the driver’s door, pressures normally are higher for more passengers.
Lost Key:
The cost of replacement of lost keys is for the renter. This includes attendance and courier if needed.
Accessories:
No accessories must be added to the vehicle without permission. The cost of removal or damage caused, is for the renter.
Traffic violations
The renter is liable to pay for any fines, charges or impounding costs imposed for traffic violations by any traffic authority such as the police, LTO. MMDA etc.
Unauthorised repairs/tampering
The renter is not permitted to undertake any unauthorised repairs, add or remove any parts or make any changes to the vehicle. Should a repair be necessary please contact us and we will approve the repair and repair shop.
Vehicle problems and Breakdown:
The vehicles are carefully maintained but the renter must contact us immediately if any warning lights appear, if the car is not running correctly or if any new sounds/noises are noticed.
There is roadside assist in the event of no fuel, puncture or breakdown and towing is available to a nearby repair shop or hotel if required.

Carriage of goods, passengers and smoking:
Smoking and animals are not allowed in the vehicle, any cleaning required due to smoking or damage from carrying goods will be charged to the renter. Overloading with goods or passengers is not allowed. Generally, the maximum passenger number is governed by the number of seat belts.
The car must not be used for any illegal activities.
The carriage of paying passengers is not allowed.
Delivery and return of the vehicle and extension of rental:
The vehicle will be inspected on delivery and on return. Any damage, internal or external, not present on delivery will be charged up to the excess amount.
We cannot guarantee to extend the rental period as there may be a follow-on booking. You must adhere to the dates/times on the rental agreement if an extension is not agreed. Please contact us as soon as you can if you want to extend and e will try to arrange it.
Authorised drivers and use of vehicle
Only the person signing the contract is allowed to drive. If there are additional drivers they must be declared at the start of the contract and a copy of the drivers license will be given to us. There will be no insurance cover for unauthorised drivers.
